Razr/Maxx Hotspot issue

I know when the OG Razr came out there was an issue with the hotspot. Has that issue been resolved on the Razr or Maxx or is it still present?

Problem is still there but the next software update that is for the razr and the maxx fixes it.

My hotspot feature worked well before the update, then worked twice after the update. Now it refuses to send a signal to my laptop for some reason my laptop can't see it. It turns on same as before just doesn't get to my laptop. Not sure wtf is going on.
Well I got it to connect after fooling with it some more. Not sure what;s the prob. Anyone else having hotspot connection issues?

Hold the vol dwn button and the power button at the same time for 15 seconds, the phone will reset and the hotspot should work... Similar to doing a battery pull.

Yeah a power cycle usually does the trick also, just a PITA to do each time is all. Thanks for the input.
