Razr Maxx or other verizon phones?

im looking for a really nice verizon phone that has sweet performance for gaming and internet, awesome battery, and has a large rooting community... i dont really care whether its Ice Cream Sandwich or ginger bread, and so far the best i can find is the Razr Maxx. are there any better phone that match similar criteria?

I am a proud Razr Maxx owner. I originally bought the Razr but soon figured out that I needed the extra battery power of the maxx.

Allow me to directly address your concerns from my 25 days of owning the Razr MAXX

Gaming: ShadowGun and Mass Effect:Infiltrator run awesome on my phone.

Battery: Nothing else comes even close. Good luck making it to 12-14 hours on any other phone without it shutting down on you. I routinely get to 12 hours with 50-65% battery left.

Rooting Community: I am just starting to look into that now but I am not at all disappointed with the amount of information and help I am finding. Please keep in mind, my last two phones were a Nexus 1 and a Nexus S.

ICS is much better than GB.

I would wait one month and buy either the GS3 or the next Motorola offering.

Make a decision before June 28th. That's when Verizon family share plans go into effect. If you are on verizon now and have unlimited data, do it soon.
