Rootkeeper won't work for you?

Guess I'll have to try something. I have tried at least a half dozen times and it fails to install every time.

I got the update but it won't install. Guess I am gonna have to UN-root to get it to install?

My rooted Razr Maxx updated late last night, used rootkeeper and its rooted once again. Worked flawlessly.

Dumb, but obvious question, did you check permissions to make sure it's in the ok mode for 3rd party apps? Some folks are saying different settings have been changing a bit on their own the reason I mention it.

You talking about allow Unknown Sources apps to install? Yeah, thats checked.

Got the update this morning. No issues that I've seen and corp email works just fine.

Finally got it to work for me, now I have the Corp Sync. issue. even after hard reset. It won't even let me sign in to server now. Keep getting sign in failed message, Guess will try later. Maybe there is a server issue right now.

Updated and then rooted - using the new 2.3.6 exploit from over on XDA - all is working great and I'm loving this phone!

Updated and then rooted - using the new 2.3.6 exploit from over on XDA - all is working great and I'm loving this phone!

I'm not sure they allow that on this site? If go to the XDA forums and search for "RAZR 2.3.6 root" it will come up easily. So far it's working great rooted.
