RCA Tablet RCT6213W87 needs firmware

This tablet was 'inherited' from my sister-in-law because it 'no longer works'

It hangs at Power-on screen.

I can wipe data/factory reset but that does not help

Root Integrity check reports:
38 modified files
System Check failed

I can see the last three (3) of the 38 files that were modified (flagged as errors):

Looking in Recovery Logs:
can't open /dev/tty0: No such file or directory
I see several messages: I:GPT not supported (no idea what this means)

I'm guessing that the only way out is a download/Install of the firmware and am looking for:
- Advice
- Download location
- Installation instructions

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can't verify that it is it though.

and i would say that a firmware update is what you need to ge the tablet up and running again. however RCA is terrible at supporting their tablets.

so use that site at your own risk.
