Help Re: Gingerbread 2.3.3

Sorry if this has been posted before

I have an O2 branded Samsung Galaxy S and just updated to gingerbread 2.3.3. via KIES the build number GINGERBREAD.XWJVH (the phone is not rooted if that helps)

Anyway the question I have is, after updating should the pop up menu (menu which appears when tapping the icon next to home button) be black or white as mine is currently white and I was told with gingerbread it is black...

it is supposed to be white. you only get black if u have a htc with the htc sence launcher.
