Help RE: Limited Storage

hi i have a samsung galaxy prevail and it has limited phone storage i would like to no if there is a way to move apps that normally cant be moved to my external sd card it is rooted and i normally use it for my internet connection but that has limited the amount of space for gaming is there anyway to force apps to move thank you.
 
Are you using a custom ROM? A custom ROM will give you more storage. Otherwise you would have to use link to SD or apps to SD the custom ROM is the best way to go one would be Ct mod another would be cm 7 you will find those in the rooted section

When using a custum rom, the kernel must suppirt app2sd, arearom and cm7.1 do.
Also you need to make a partition on ur sd card, 2gb is a good size.

CT Mod has the kernel built into it. 2 gig is a little overkill, 1 gig is perfect but if you want 2 or more thats all up to you.
 
Root it as covered on this forum. It is not hard to do. read all directions and threads all the way though before doing anything. Take notes.

When you do it..Or really before you do it.. Back up everything to a removable card and then to your computer first!

Don't over think the actual work of doing thr rooting. It is easy. I got a little confused because I over thought it.

Just literally follow the directions carefully.

I bought my prevail 7 months ago. Liked it more then my old windows phone. But as I could not add any apps I wanted due to the limited memory. And I could not remove the junk apps I did not need.

I regretted getting the phone.


Bought a 32 gig class 4 sandisck card.

Rooted the phone.

I love it.

Life is good.

Do this, then thank they guys that bput the work into it, and donate something to them!
