Re-open Tabs

My Samsung S6 will randomly close all the tabs I have open whether it is 2 or 20 it is getting ridiculous as I keep them open for later use.

Is there a way to have the phone STOP this or is there a way to re-open tabs that are usually apps or webpages (Chrome isn't helpful because it doesn't show which ones were recently closed, just the recently searched for tabs).

But Chrome does show the recently closed. Click the 3 vertical dots at the right of the search bar, and tap on Recent Tabs. At the top, it shows the recently closed, with a link to "History" below that, which will in turn, show you all your recent tabs, from other devices too.

Any ideas on how to reduce the memory management? It is usually when there isn't a heavy memory load which is strange.

And yes... that is how Chrome is supposed to work... it isn't how Chrome has been working for me recently.

Not sure how to tweak the memory management - a web search showed this - http://www.xda-developers.com/fix-for-galaxy-s6-memory-issues/ - requires root though, and I can't confirm whether it works or not (I don't have a S6)

So what happens in Chrome when you click the 3 dots? Can you share a screen print?

jj14x - It simply shows the last tabs OPENED. There aren't any groups of Closed Tabs nor does it show the last tabs CLOSED which would be helpful.

Ugh rooting... I miss my Nexus 5. No root needed, no bloatware... and no WiFi as that part of my phone was damaged.

Here's what the recent tabs page looks like on my device right now. You can see that it is showing no recent tabs on my phone (cause I haven't been using it this morning), but if I click the "show full history" link, it shows me all the recent tabs that I opened/closed. (to close a tab, it has to be opened first, so the full history shows all recent tabs - opened and/or closed)

I'm guessing you aren't seeing this?
