re "preferred network mode"

Under settings>mobile networks>network mode

There are three choices....

Global
Lte/cdma
lte/gsm/umts

Global is checked by default.

Is there any reason to check one of the others? ie lte/cdma?

Just wondering......
 
I tried LTE/CDMA theorizing it may help with the high cell standby issue but it made no difference so I switched back to Global. Enabling voLTE did however work to greatly reduce the cell standby drain if that's a concern for you.
