Lurker
Hey All,
Just launched a new application last week called RE-TEXT. It's not the first of its kind in broad spectrum, but it does do a few things that I think are new.
It's got 1-step "Go Quiet" mode that comes with its own Phone Finder built in; this is from our previous app Fone Phinder.
Added to this we have the automated reply sms message whenever your phone is in QUIET mode. You can pick from our standard replies, or create your own.
Here's where it gets new: We've built in a feature that allows you to choose if you want to respond on your own. When you turn on the application (go QUIET), you can either select to ALWAYS send an auto-reply, NEVER send an auto-reply, or "Ask Me First". This sets up a window where in 15-/30-/60-second time frames you'll have the opportunity to select to handle the message on your own. When you receive a text, a pop-up window will ask you to choose, "I'll handle it" or, "You handle it". Wife texts during a movie? Might want to get back to that one; Small emergency during a meeting? Take care of it right then... OR you can simply let the time run out, and your auto-reply will be sent.
Let me know what you guys think if you get a chance to check it out! We priced it at $2.00.
Thanks for any and all input!
