Hey Carl - you should be able to sync your contacts with your gmail account (worth doing anyway as, when you change phones, you just link the phone to your gmail account and, hey presto, you have all your contacts!

As for your messages, you can back them up using SMS Backup & Restore

Before performing a factory reset, have you tried clearing the cache for the facebook app?

Cheers,
D

Hi, D-U-R-X

How do i clear the cache, will this also clear the searches ive done on the internet. Also do you know y each contact on me phone has the mobile number in 5-8 times.

Thankyou in advance

Carl

No problemo carl ;)

Clearing the cache for the facebook app will not get rid of your internet searches... it is only the cache for that particular app.

From your homescreen hit "menu=>settings=>apps" then scroll down until you find the Facebook app and press to select... you should then be able to clear the cache (all of this is from memory, as I am on a custom ROM my menus are called something else).

As for the contact having the numbers displayed several times... I think that this is to do with where your phone is getting the info from and how it is being displayed... I think that, whilst in your phone book, if you hit menu and select settings, you should be given an option of which accounts to use (or something like that)!
