Reactivating a phone question

So I have a old VM phone the I ported the number to T-Mobile to use with a different phone. Can I still reactivate the VM phone without having the same number it had on it before? Or would I need to get a new phone?

Your old Virgin Mobile phone should work fine with a new number after you reactivate it.
