read backup colornote files from other phone

[Android Question]

opening files in extsdcard says "Unable to find application to perform the action". The files were backed up on my old android to the SD card so I could open them on this G3. So I downloaded colornotes to this G3 with the transferred SD card but I get the above error.

To my knowledge, Color Notes doesn't have backup capability, since it is just a widget. How did you back up these files, ie, what backup program did you use? Have you tried installing that backup app and opening the backup file you made?

Also, can you try moving the backup files to your internal SD card and restoring them?
