Help Read emails changing to unread

During the last week, I am experienceing problems with my non-gmail emails. Read emails (always on the bottom of the list / oldest are changing to unread during sync). any ideas?

Is your email IMAP? It may be changing to read because you read the email from some other source like your PC or a webmail site and this updates your phone.

Same here, just started couple days ago.

getting notice of unread emails from days prior.... that have actually been read!

Any ideas how to stop this?
