Read iPhone attachments

OK, I've looked through various forums, and no one seems to have an answer. Sure, I can download it, and it appears in the gallery, but when I select it, it shows the broken image icon.

I've also adjusted all the recommended settings for my base message system and also Go SMS.

Any thoughts besides having all iPhone users email me their attachments?

Have them send you pictures you have an app for. IOW, if you have no app tht will read gif files, your phone can't read gif files, MMS, email or any other way.

Also make sure that they're not too large. (I don't know what the max size is in iMessage is, but it's probably larger than max size in MMS [which depends on the carrier, but may be as low as 300k].)

Also - Apple is currently reworking their iMessage software (on their server), so it may break at any time until they finish reworking it.

I get MMS messages from my friends with apple phones all the time.
Try a different gallery like quickpic.
