Read-only image gallery?

[tobyink]

The default gallery application has a "delete" button. Does anybody know of a similar app, but with no "delete" or editing functions? Just a plain old image viewer.

I've got a "kids area" app installed that allows me to give them access to specific apps but not, e.g. make phone calls. I'd like to give them access to the photo collection, but not if it allows them to delete stuff!

I use for a "read only" gallery a picture grid frame widget.

I use the HTC stock widget, but there should similar widgets in Market/Play Store

I use for a "read only" gallery a picture grid frame widget.

A nice idea. But the "Kids Place" app I'm using (which basically provides a special home screen for the kids, and needs a password to get back to the main home screen) doesn't support widgets. It needs to be a regular app.

Have you found an app like this yet? I need one for the exact same reason! I am using Kid's Place for my 2 year old daughter because she is learning my phone quite well and she loves to look through the pics.
