Help Reading the SD Card?

One of my apps says that I can copy its directory from the SD card to my computer. How do I find out what's even on my SD card much less whether I can copy a directory from it?

Sorry for being so ignorant about this stuff, but I'm afraid I am. :(

Don't worry about it; it takes time to learn everything :).

There are a few ways to do this. For copying files from the phone to your computer, the simplest method is to connect your phone to your PC, and select the option on your phone to mount it as a disk drive when it asks. From there, it's like plugging in any external drive. A new drive should show up. What you see there is your sdcard. That is all assuming you're using windows, of course.

If you want to view the contents of the card (and the rest of the file system) from the phone, you can can use any file manager. Some of the more popular ones are Astro and Estrongs. Both of those default to your sdcard when you open them.
