REAL Educational Android Apps

Hi all,

I am looking for some advice here. I love the Android OS but I am really thinking of getting the iPad. Here is why.

I want to get a truly kid friendly software for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 but there really isn't in the Google Play store many apps that work and work well.

I've looked at the Nabi and the Vinci but I don't want to buy a device that pigeon hole me into their device only.

Does anyone know of well designed apps like the Nabi or Vinci software for other tablets?

Apparently the Nabi has the Amazon app store, so you're not completely locked into the Nabi system, and I'm sure you can side-load other apps as well. Alternatively if you think the iPad might be best for your educational requirements, go for it. Best tools for the job, as they say.
