The last elder of the family is my Aunt Shirley she is getting up there in age, and never pay attention to technology, she has hand wrote instructions even for doing simple computer stuff too..
We made it to the Dominican Republic and back, opting out of TSA's facial recognition technology. Took no time at all with passports and a REAL ID driver's license.

It was the most indescribable, incredible and immeasurable (I've run out of positive adjectives that start with the letter "I") experiences of my life. The Darling Bride and I had an amazing week together... as wonderful as the all-inclusive resort amenities were; as much as we enjoyed every moment together, the (over-worked and under-paid) staff at the resort were the best part of our stay. Although "gratuities are included" in the package, that money rarely gets filtered down to the people in the trenches: which is why we took a stack of small bills to tip them directly. Tourists who don't tip extra get minimal service... we travelers who DO tip extra get exceptional service. The only downside was flying out of 79F weather into 26F weather and a pile of cancelled flights! While we got home several hours after initially scheduled, we at least got home last night and relished our sleep in our home, our bed, and our pillows.
There's no place like home. It sounds like a great time and good on you for treating the service with respect and gratitude. You picked a good week to get out of Dodge.
