Help really bad battery problems. anyway to prove its bad?

Well the problem is my 3g xt910 razor is getting horrible battery life. I turned everything off, etc and its still bad. I'm at my wits end with it. Basically with simple browsing news sites within 3-4 hrs, its dead. It might last a day in sleep mode. Within the past hour I'm down 40% with browsing. Do I call Motorola since the phone is only 2 months old? I wanted to use it as a music player as well but it can't even handle being a phone let alone an mp3 player. Anyone else with the same problem and if so what did you do?

ya mine also lasts the same amount only...its been almost a month since i bought mine and i keep the data on with 2g when not browsing and toggle to 3g when am browsing, it stands for around 5 to 5.30 hours,,,
i have no idea if this makes any sense, but try this, let your phone charge over night...i sensed a slight difference in battery drain when i charge over night...and also use any of the battery performance or sensor test (like androsensor) to test the battery's health ., and also toggle between 3g and 2g according to your use and make sure that no app is keeping your phone awake all the time...this drains battery..i read in this forum somewhere how to find that out, so do a quick search for that and hope this helps :thumbup:
