Really Charge For 8 Hours?

I opened it with 2% charge left. Plugged it in for a bit while turned on, turned off and it was charged with 2.5 hours using wall charger.

If its like my phone, it stops charging at 100%, and won't charge again until I un plug and re plug the phone in.

Anyway, the light is green... Not sure what good it does to charge 8 hours.

All I can say is they insinuate that that first charge is important to the rest of the life of the battery to "prolong battery life" and say 8 hrs.

I get mine tomorrow, I decided to plug it right in and keep working and come back to it later. Going to be tough.. but I am going to try my hardest to do so.
