Root Really noob question about droid icon dock

I just rooted my phone and was searching for themes for my droid 2, i noticed how all the docks (i think thats what there called) at the bottom of all the pages had five icons whereas mine has three, the phone, the menu button, and the contacts. Is this something through a rom or something else?

You can use a different launcher. I use launcher pro and your phone does not need to be rooted.
