Help Rear Notification Light (Verizon)

I didn't think that the Verizon model had a rear notification light around the power button. I hard reset my phone last night and was just noticing while on a phone call (speaker on), that the rear notification light was lighting up white.

Does anyone have any info on what apps can/are controlling the rear notification light? What lights up for the International/other U.S. versions?

Can Light Flow control the rear notification light as well?
 
Does your's light up as a notification light? With different colors? Can you tell what apps, if any, can control that light?

As guess the question first should be, does it actually serve as a notification light?

Thank you for contacting LG Electronics!!

The light around the power key will stay white and unfortunately is not going to work with any third party as an LED indicator. However, the phone comes with a LED indicator which is located next to the earpiece.
 
sum beech... i dont think i ever noticed the light around the power button. Im not sure i have ever looked back there while using the buttons, lol.

they could ad some more setting to both. its needed.
