I recently received a red and black Rearth silicone case. I was somewhat doubtful at first as I have never been a big fan of silicone cases. They tend to attract a ton of dust, get stuck to fabric, and just generally don't offer any protection. Rearth's product definitely breaks that mold. The cases are extremely firm yet pliable enough to wrap around my Evo with relative ease. The attention to detail on these cases is top notch and honestly I can't think of any other manufacturer that can compare to it.
They have cutouts for everything, literally. The HTC logo, kickstand, camera, mic, micro USB, HDMI, speaker, LED's and headphone jack are all exact. They have also put graphical indicators for the USB and HDMI ports which really surprised me. They even went as far as to put the battery cover outline around the edges just like the real thing. The power and volume buttons are now much MUCH easier to depress and I have no trouble finding them without looking. I really like how the camera cutout has a slight lip to it and keeps the lens from touching any surfaces, I'm also glad they left enough room around the 3.5mm for the pugs to fit all the way in.
Now of course these cases do have a few cons. They are a tad bit loose around the vertical length of the screen but I don't see any way around that with a a silicone case and the looseness is pretty minimal. Also, the "black" case I received is more of a grey, which might be what its supposed to be and I was just under the wrong impression of it being a true black.
Overall the Rearth cases are great products. The pocketability is unmatched as far as silicone goes and the quality and attention to detail easily surpasses any case I've ever seen. They have great customer communication and support, I have nothing but good things to say about Blake.
If you have any questions about these cases please don't hesitate to contact me.
Overall rating 8/10.
