Help Reboot.. How often?

This is my first smartphone. I had my last phones on 24x7 but wonder if an Android based phone should be switched off for a while every few days?

You can leave if on the whole day just like any other phone.

I don't think there's any benefit to keeping it off for a little while, but I reboot mine at least once a day to clear cache and prevent any "funny stuff" from happening.
Example: I was trying to send my ex wife an MMS, and she said she couldn't download the pic. I asked her if she ever restarted her phone.. Nope. She's had it for 2 months and didn't know how to work the power button yet . So anyways, i told her how to restart, and she was able to download the pic fine.

Fast reboot is a great app that will let you" reboot" your phone without shutting it down

Just BE CAREFUL with pressing REBOOT RECOVERY on one of those apps

I'll reboot it once every few days to be on the safe side.
