Help Rebooting

I received my custom made Motorola Moto X Pure Edition on September 15 and I love it. The problem is last week, it started rebooting on its on. At one time it rebooted 4 times in 5 minutes and it did not matter whether I was on the phone or not. I called Tech Support and, of course, the first thing they had me do was fresh restart, which I did. The next after the fresh restart, it rebooted again. So I called Tech Support again and they gave me a code to input at the Motorola website for a brand new one. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

I finally got my replacement Motorola x Pure Edition one a month later and when I turned it on, it rebooted again. I ended up putting on Safe Mode and a few hours later, it rebooted again. Now, it goes through a random reboot at least once a day, and this is my second Pure Edition. This would be my best phone ever if it wasn't for the constant reboots. We need Motorola to do something about this!!!!!
 
are you sure it is not one of the apps installed.
I asked this both my wife and I got the MXPE, and we love them and not a problem
 
I haven't read that rebooting is a problem with the MXPE, but it sure sounds like a hardware problem if it reboots in Safe Mode. I wonder what the chances are of getting two MXPEs in a row with the same hardware problem? If I were you I'd buy a lottery ticket.

LOL,, thanks for that,, well,, I got a hold of support and they had me go deep into the Android system and had me do a hard reboot. Looked like a BIOS reboot. This was 3 days ago and so far no reboot. Saying some prayers for my MXPE :-)

Good news! I hope your days of random reboots are in the past. The bad news is that this reduces your chances of winning the lottery.

I've read complaints on the Motorola forum about lengthy waits to get a replacement MXPE. How long did it take you to get the replacement phone?

It took close to a Month. The thing is, since the phone is brand new, they have no refurbished. Plus, being that I customized it, they had to give me a code so I can customize it again at no cost, except that they made me pay 25 bucks for the wood in the back. They did say that the 25 will be reimbursed once they get the defective MXPE from me.
