Help Recalculate the battery

How do I fix the battery to go back to normal or is the only way to drain it and then charge it fully? I had it in my laptop and something wasn't sending correctly to my tablet so I disconnect the usb and put it back in again and it jumped from 35 to 100% charged... Would leaving it in the charger be ok and it will still charge or should I drain it?

I too have similar problem. Y'day my Tab drained and when I charged it it shows some % (say 42%), however when I start using it, it increases the battery life (only in battery indicator say 55% or so on) The more I use tab, the battery indicator shows more rather than reducing it.

How do I reset it to normal ?

Try letting it charge till you know for sure its full battery and then use a battery calibration app

I tried this too, no use. It still shows 100% charged all the time. Any Solution ?

Two thing that come to mind (not sure if either will help there just generic trouble shooting steps)

Is to Shutdown the tablet then turn it back on (not a restart but a full shutdown)

Or

Factory reset that would help eliminate any possible programs that are causing the battery indicator to glitch

I tried shutdown n factory reset too. But no use. Yes, it appears after 4.0.4 update.

I may hv to take it to service centre since its under warranty. Thx all for response.
