Recalibrate screen?

My x10mp now has a "dead zone" in the middle of the screen, where touching produces nothing. The screen display everything fine, but it does not detect a finger press in that centre region.

Is there a way to recalibrate the touch screen?.

Unfortunately not, in most cases this will need to be sent into a repair agent to be resolved, however you can try an update to rule out a software issue:
