receive messages datewise

[Android Question]

Hi,

Is there a way to receive messages datewise in android like we used to get in early phones, instead of getting them namewise ?
The problem is I receive imp messages from the bank and they get categorized like dz- bnk name, lm- bnk name, etc representing credit, cheque clerance or smthing . It becomes a hassle to check all transactions (credit, debit, balance, etc) for tallying . So it would be great to check everything by categorizing things under date not names . Please help! !

I guess you want the traditional inbox style rather than the "conversation" style.

Easy SMS from Pansi Studios (to avoid confusion with another app called Easy SMS) has this as an option - you can switch inbox styles according to your preference. Just install from the Play Store and if running Android 4.4 make it your default message app.
