Received my Droid Replacement Today

Kinda peeved that it's a refurb. I thought I would get a new Droid since the one I purchased Touch Screen crapped out...

Is this typical? This is the first time I had to use warranty on a cell phone.

After 30 days it's probable any replacement is a refurb. Is there anything wrong with it though? I wouldn't mind a refurb long as it looked and worked like new.

Looks fine. Haven't had the chance to set it up.

I just don't like the idea of a refurb I guess. I'm anal like that. I like my stuff new.

If you have the Asurion insurance feature for your Motorola Droid, replacements ordered through them are brand new..

Yea it's been out for a little so there may be refurbs popping up. Actually among the three droids I've had my "certified-like-new" one works the best. Refurbs aren't necessarily a bad thing. I'm a VZW employee and hear people knock the refurbs all the time, myself included at one point. IMHO I have no problem having one after experience.
