I've recently started having a problem with Chomp where texts I receive over 160 characters are split into multiple chat bubbles in the wrong order. I've recently switched from Handcent, but I prefer the look and feel of Chomp. I'm using the Samsung Captivate, and the only other major change I've made recently is the installation of ADW Launcher.
I think the problem might be that I'm getting the texts from someone on Verizon and I'm on AT&T. I've gotten plenty of long texts (>160 characters) from someone else's BlackBerry who is also on AT&T and the texts are never split. I could have sworn some older texts from the Verizon customer had been combined, but I can't tell for sure if any of them were really longer than 160 characters as they've been deleted.
In any case, no multiple texts have ever been out of order. I'll get 5 SMS's at a time, and they'll be jumbled up like a puzzle. It's very annoying to try to figure out which order they go in. Am I going insane, do I just need to learn to deal with this? Or is there some option I'm missing?
