Help Receiving double notification with text messages since 2.1

Hey..not a real problem, but since my 2.1 upgrade when I receive a text message my notification rings twice for one message. Anyone else get this? It's just weird behavior...nothing I can't live with.

Me too. I made handscent the default. But I still get both

Open the stock messaging app, hit the menu button on your phone, click settings, uncheck the "notifications" option. That should leave you with only the handcent notification. Right now you are getting a notification from the phones's built in app, and handcent.

That should do it!

Additionally, in Handcent there is an option for a reminder. If you get a message and don't get to it right away it could be sending a reminder which may appear as a second message.

I dont' use handcent...only the stock messaging system...which i like other than the double notification
