Receiving pictures in text messages

I am a newbie, sorry. Anyways, I have an LG Optimus V using Virgin Mobile. When I first got the phone I had no problem receiving pictures in text messages. When I get one now it says to download and when I go to download it does nothing. Any ideas? :hmmmm2:

My experience is that text attachments (photos) are only available when network data is enabled. When texting thru wireless access, attachments are not available.

I use a Huawei 8800 and on Consumer Cellular.

I have tried disabling my WiFi and it still doesn't work. Thank you though =)

Have you perhaps tried a 3rd party app? Like go sms?
