Help Receiving Text

I'm sorry if this has been covered already, but I don't have much time to search. Is there a way or an APP to receive text messages when you don't have cell service? I don't need to send, just be able to receive the ones that are sent to me. See I work on a Drilling rig out in the Gulf, I can't get a cell signal but we do have wi-fi. BTW I have an ERIS.

you want something that sends your text to email...
i think google voice does that.
but do a google search on text to email.
