hey everyone

thought i'm best making myself know :)

i've recently converted to Android (1 week ago) after being an iPhone fanatic since the 2G... i think it's safe to say that i've seen the light and i can't see me going back to iOS anytime in the future after having my eyes opened to Android.

i've got me a Samsung Galaxy S and it's awesome... i truely love the handset and i'm running Froyo because i've not really had a proper play with the phone/android yet, so hopefully being on here will help me with that.

i've been lurking around the theming threads on this forum since i got my phone, because my main reason for converting to Android was the ease of making my phone look and work exactly how i want it to, without having to void a warranty or potentially brick a device... after seeing the banner at the top of the site, i thought i might aswell get involved :)

so yea... that's me... :)

Welcome to Android Forums!

One of the easiest ways to customize an Android phone is to use an alternate launcher like LauncherPro, ADW or GO. There are many others, too but those seem to be the biggies.

If you want to go further, you should check out what others are doing in the Samsung Galaxy S Forum. Good luck with your new phone.

Thanks!

I'm already using ADW and loving it... i've already had a good play around with it. I'm also using Widget Locker for a nicer lockscreen... are there any other apps that i might be missing?
