Help Recent video streaming issue

Since recent update both my sons and my phone (S4) have issues with all video streaming. Vids freeze and audio continues. When pressing forward in location bar the video plays in slow motion and freezes again. This is not specific to provider or net issues as I have tried various connections on both phones and problem persists. Its driving me nuts as we cant watch any streamed video. Youtube, netflix, showbox, etc.
Any ideas how to sort this?

I would clear the system cache. It can't hurt, and many times it fixes up issues arising after an update.

Hi, I have tried this but problem still remains.
Any other suggestions? Willing to try anything its driving us nuts.

If you have a custom recovery there is a video lag fix that you can flash, it will clear up that problem 100%
