Help Recently my camera takes sepia type pics intermittently

All of my settings are the same as I've always had them - burst shots off, auto night detection off, face detection on, iso auto, metering mode center weighted, selective focus off, no effects, flash on, hdr off. For the past few months I get intermittent sepia type shots, and the picture takes 1-2 seconds longer to take after tapping to take the picture. Any ideas?

I have turned flash OFF permanently. I don't find it useful at all, as it gives mixed results.

If there is a need for "more light", I just activate the "Flashlight" which is far more efficient "for me" to see how the picture is going to look.

You can preview the "flash" lit shot before the shot is taken. You will see the "hotspots" and can move the camera slightly or change the angle slightly to shift that hotspot out of the picture.

I am using Center focus, as that allows me to precisely determine how it is going to focus, and for me, it is resulting in much better pictures.

So far, the only Sepia shot I ever saw, is one that I made on purpose, and I did not like it.

I have the rest of the settings like you do, ISO Auto. I find that the camera does a great job in dark areas even without the so called "Night Detection".
