Help Recognition of Old text messages ??

Hi everyone!

Its been a week now since Ive owned my NEW Samsung GALAXY GiO, but I haven't used it yet.. :( Reason being is that my Sim Card which now has about 100 important text messages on it from 2004 on, and has gone through 3 different phones (Including present phone NOKIA 5140) are not being recognized by the Samsung. Does anyone know HOW to get these recognized or is there a way to have them recognized?? software, settings ?? ect.

I didn't get you. the phone didn't recognize your sim card or your massages????
did you check the sim messages in here :
message>setting>Manage simcard messages???????
in there you can copy them to phone.
