Recommend a smart watch?

if your son don't mind the black and white screen and square look but other than that its great, my friend have one for almost 2 yrs now and it has its advantages.

I too am finally looking at getting a smart watch and the ones that caught my eye are the Pebble Steel, the Moto360, and Gear 2. The Pebble Steel seems to have the most apps available but its not touch screen and its black n white..which is okay I guess. Any opinions on these 3 watches?

I can't speak for the Pebble or Gear2, but a watch using Android Wear (such as the Moto360) has the advantage of not needing separate apps for many core functions. All Google's apps already support Wear, for example.

The beta firmware and app that are currently in testing allow Pebble to use Android Wear calls from any Android app. Currently, actionable notifications work great.
