Hi, just got my tab 2 yesterday, so far loving it. Just wondered if anyone can recommend some good general apps.

What apps do you guys have? Which are good? Which are a waste of time? I'd like some good camera edit apps, some customise appearance apps, music etc...

Thanks in advance.

SwiftKey keyboard. But if the new Google keyboard is available try that as well
Freenote for writing with a JotPro stylus
FXzoom for the fixed focus camera. It gives a reasonable digital focus
Winamp for music
Equaliser to boost/improve volume control
Adobe Flash. The downloading and installation info is on the forum.
None require rooting

Spikes

google nav as unlike the s3 the tab 2 10.1 doesnt need to use 3g to get the maps..
flipboard
evernote
pixelr express
attach save lite
chrome
dolphin browser
aptoide
tablet market
to name a few..

If you install swiftkey do you have to uninstall/disable/delete the stock keyboard to stop it automatically popping up when you click a text input field?

The installation instructions for SwiftKey will take you through setting it as default keyboard

Spikes

Customization
Image 2 Wallpaper for using your photos for wallpaper.

Video
MX Player for playing just about all movie formats.

System Utilities
Clean Master for helping to keep your memory space maximized.. Cleaning your cache weekly keeps your device running well and frees up memory for other apps.
ES File Explorer File Manager works great for creating folders right on your Home screen and is very useful should you ever need to move some files around like from the download folder on your device to your SD card.

These will get you off to a good start.

If you have already installed SwiftKey and need to disable the std keyboard, go to settings > language and input options and set SwiftKey as default
