Recommend GPS navigation app with offline maps?

[Bandersnoot]

Can anyone recommend a GPS navigation app with offline maps?

I have a WiFi-only GTab 7+ and I'd like to see how it would work for road trips.

Thanks,

From my own experiece:
Navigon and CoPilot have their maps on the SD card/storage and don't need a mobile data connection for navigation.

But note, without a data connection you can't use the online traffic info service of this apps.

I use CoPilot Live V9 and love it. (I use this second to Google maps.) It is very customizable with pretty much all the features of a stand alone Garmin GPS and more. It even has free map updates. The size is over 1 GB. So make sure you have enough storage space.

I have been using Waze and love it. It has it's own social networking feature so you can report and receive reports on traffic slowdowns, cops, hazards, etc.
