Recommend Lock Screen App

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good lock screen replacement app.
I enjoy customising my phone and the only thing I haven't touched so far is my lock screen.

try Widget Locker mate. Its not free tho
EDIT i forgot id uninstalled it for a reason. Home button bypasses it and it seems it hasnt been fixed yet

Cheers dude, think I'll give it a miss until the home button issue has been fixed.
Is go locker any good?

Yeah i used to use it man. Theres a lot of themes for it, some free but it lacks a lot of customation other than the themes. Defo give it a try mate.
I dont even use a locker these days :)

Disabling the home button unlock is an option buried in the menus of Widget Locker (I think unless they've changed it recently) that was set default as enabled.

If you use a pattern security lock, then you will have to go through 2 screens. Swipe to open from Widget Locker screen, and then enter you pattern on the standard lockscreen.

Cheers pal, I tried that earlier yet home button still bypasses lock screen. Hopefully the devs will fix it at some point. Thanks for looking dude

No problem man. I think the dev uses Android Forums and i LOVE his Launcher. I know a lot of devs have had problems with certain things about the s3 that isnt their fault. Did u try Go Locker?

I love Nova launcher, it's great.
Had a quick look at go locker, but it says for best results you need go launcher installed even if it's not set as default.

Ah right. I probably used it while i still used Go Launcher mate. Then i found Nova and never looked back lol.
Tbh i dont even use a lockscreen now and i have "touch to wake" set up so as soon as i touch the screen, it turns on. I use a flip case when its in my pocket so its a nice setup for me. I dont use a computer so im a heavy phone user :)

I don't have any kind of security on mine either, just swipe to unlock. I think I'll wait until tesla can resolve the issue of home button bypass.

I have been finding that apparently since 4.1.2 the Home button behaves differently than before, and lock screen apps/widgets don't behave as they used to. I have run into this on PlayerPro and PowerAmp lock screen widgets.

However, supposedly some custom ROMs don't have this change.

Not sure if this is related to the home button issue some are having, but check to see if your lock options in the phone settings are the issue. Goto Menu>System Settings>Lock Screen. There are 2 options, the first is "Lock automatically" and I have this set to "Immediately" so the phone will lock as soon as the screen shuts off. I forget what the standard timeout is but it's not the immediately option. The second is "Lock instantly with power key". Check this to activate so every time you use the power button to turn off the screen it locks.

I have both of these settings active on my phone, and do not have the home unlock issue. I thought there was an option to disable it, but if the selection that funkylogik shows above doesn't work, then I can't find another setting in WL to disable.

svensett, Just noticed that you may be using a custom ROM? I don't have those options in my stock settings. If so, then that supports my previous observation that custom ROMs can be exempt from these issues.

Cheers for the suggestion pal, but unfortunately Active Lockscreen has the sane problem as Widget Locker in that the home button bypasses the lock screen.
Unless there's a workaround without rooting I'll have to stay with stock

Just tried it after reading that and it didn't bypass it.

Just tried setting lock screen to none before installing Active Lockscreen but home button still bypasses lock screen and which us strange.
I'll be doing a factory reset soon before I install 4.2.2 so I'll try it again then
