recommend me a new tablet?

well, my transformer tf700t broke.. again, and im just fed up with asus products as of late as this is the third asus product ive purchased in a row that has had issues, and their customer service has not been good to me, so im looking for a new tablet

besides this tablet bricking, i regretted paying so much on a tablet anyway, id just like something i can watch movies on, browse internet, and read books.. that being said, im even considering stepping down to a smaller size if necessary as im not so sure the added weight that comes with a larger screen is something desirable to me

--so.. lets say $200-$300 range

--good resolution screen, preferably a 1080p on a 10" or similar PPI on a 7"

--id like the GPS function to actually work in a vehicle, on the TF700T it did not

--and id REALLY prefer a rear facing camera as i do tend to take photos with my tablet since i do not own a smart phone, and do not want a smart phone

--and something that can take a removable SDXC (64gb) microsd card for added storage of music, movies, and books

--and lastly, something with an unlocked bootloader thats not going to penalize me or restrict my ability to use my property the way i choose to use it

.. so, suggestions?

The New Nexus 7 has everything except the removable card, while the Galaxy Tab 3 line has everything except the 1080p screen. Your choice which is more important.

well, looking at the features of the toshiba, i can find similar features for less.. that being said im trying to determine which features i NEED.. i mean, do i need 1080p?, my 10" netbook isnt that high of a resolution, but ive never noticed a difference between that and my 10" 1080p tablets resolution.. im thinking the resolutions on these screens is over-hyped to sell people on features they dont need

id LOVE to find an atom based tablet under my price range so i can run native linux, have a standard bios, and removable internal hard drive.. even if it was thicker, i like a thicker tablet, but this probably doesnt exist... but, yeah i dont think i even need an HD screen, tegra 3 processor, though they are bonuses, id rather have a good camera, GPS that actually worked, and SDXC capabilities in an external microsd card slot

seems the nook has a 9 inch 1080p screen, decent performance, sdxc capabilities, .. if it wasnt so damn ugly.. i mean what is that? a lanyard.. on a tablet? why??.. no back camera though.. a lot of tablets seem to be missing those

what about cheaper tablets in the $100 range?.. how are these at watching movies, playing music, browsing the internet, and reading books?.. i have a netbook which i prefer for other mobile tasks because i can run whatever software i want on it (usually linux).. and is far more upgradable.. but surely an inexpensive coby tablet could do these tasks?
