Recommend me a tablet!!

Evenin. I'm looking for a 7inch tablet for my daughter for christmas. I want a full android system, not a kid tablet. Must be less than
 
not so convinced by nexus 7 purely cos it's a bit more expensive and spares are non existent. I can fix these devices myself so it either needs to be inexpensive or it needs to be something I can buy a new glass/screen for. I believe glass and screen are bonded in the nexus 7. If it was for an adult I would go for it though.
 
Ainol tablet... isn't that a suppository? ;)

I've taken a look at those and a few others and ended up buying an ainol novo 7 mars. 4.0, wifi, Play store, looks good. Now to kid-safe it in time for christmas!
 
I looked at the kindle fire and hd, wasn't impressed by either. Nexus 7 looks a better device and proper android, not amazon's version thereof. Ebook and video apps are plentiful on android anyway.

I did think about a fire to root and flash with CM9 but the device didn't seem to hold any advantage that's likely to make any difference to my 6 year old daughter over the Ainol Mars which is significantly cheaper.
 
If you are looking for something for your kids and buying multiple tablets i think you took the correct route, it's just the Nexus and Kindle both are 200 dollars for the lowest tier and sometimes you might have to buy a couple of them and it starts adding up :)
