Hello all,

I'm after an sms app which uses my contacts Facebook account photo as their display picture. It makes it a lot easier to sift through contacts. I've tried Chomp but it wouldn't sync contact photos.

Textra & Chomp share the same dev, so if Chomp doesn't display it, Textra probably won't either (it doesn't, confirmed as I use Textra also).

A shame, as Textra is an excellent SMS Replacement.

Other apps which might are QKSMS & Sliding Messaging
 
Textra displays the pictures from the phone's contacts list.
Now, if you manage to synchronize your contacts with your Facebook account, then I guess Textra will display the Facebook photos as well. But I've never tried that. My contacts are synchronized with my Google account, not with Facebook.
Indeed, Textra is a great SMS app. Worth every penny.
