Recommended for you pop up

I just found out that Google Hangout is replacing Google Talk. Yeap that was my "pop-up" recommended reading while on Phandroid.com. That happened over a year ago. How can I turn those pop-ups off or why don't we get rid of them. Most people check this site on a regular basis for the new articles.

They're infuriating.

They link back to articles that are years old and have absolutely no bearing on the articles they appear on. Some of the stuff that appears is also pretty inappropriate.

If they could be changed so the popup is optional, that would be greatly appreciated.

^^^that. The crap is way old, often inappropriate, and totally unrelated to the articles I read on Phandroid. If Rob is paying for a service to handle this, it isn't working. This is about the little Phandroid "recommended articles" that pop up in the bottom right on the Phandroid site. Image below.

Yep. :)

I had the attached appear a week or so back. Why is that "recommended for me"?
