Hmmm well when I usually ask myself these pretty important questions I would personally go for this keyboard right here:

(They come in different colours and sizes too so do not stress! )

I think the Logitech Iluminated keyboard or the cheaper X4... or the even cheaper Cheery Xt would be enough for me. Making the decision will be hard.

Until I try the X4, I'll assume that all of them have the shallow travel I'm looking for, but excluding the X4, none (Inc TT Challenger) have gaming features like anti ghosting (cherry and the Illuminated don't have macros either) - two things I don't know much about. I probably won't need macros for gaming although they might proven useful in things like Photo shop. ( the G500 mouse has 3 buttons on it... Not sure if that helps)
