Is that a good price or a bad price? I don't know what the conversion is.
How about this?
Logitech MK220:

As regards to mice : Someone told me that gigabyte isn't a good company for mice? And that the extra dpi isn't necessary?

Not sure if you've realised, but I'm from the UK. We don't have newegg
It has occured to me that I don't really know why I want a wireless keyboard, but I do like the ergonomic styling of it.
I'll try going into Staples or somewhere , and see if I can have a go on one. Otherwise I'll order the wireless, and if I don't like it , I'll get a wired.
Seems like the biggest difference that everyone mentions is the lag. But how noticeable is this for a 'casual' to intermediate gamer? and in day to day life?

Trust me it is awful especially in a wireless mouse, god i had so many issues when, back in the day i started gaming with Counter Strike: Source and my reaction time was awful with a wireless mouse, like turning corners and stuff.
And even if you don't have newegg, which sucks might i add, you can still look for those devices, you have the names, and they are reliable, i would seriously look to stay away from wireless...

Well first off like i probably said at some point on this thread but cant remember, Razer products are so iffy, because they either work or they dont and you might have to spend money on getting it fixed, just shipping fees of course, but i love my razer products and they work really well for my needs.
The Razer mice, i think, are the better of their products and you really couldn't go wrong getting one!

I use an Alienware TactX keyboard. Its a bit cumbersome because it connects to the PC by two USB connectors but the build quality is very solid and the keys are just right. I used to use a Logitech wireless keyboard but it was unreliable; I had it on the pullout shelf of my desk and I think the radio waves couldn't get through the wood!

Over Macho Grande?
i have the x4 keyboard and like it, but mostly for gaming. The one advantage I really like is that there isnt a limit on how many keys you can press.
A quick test would be to type this while holding both shift keys:

As for the mouse I dont think it matters as much, but that's subjective. Personally I just love a mouse that feels right in my hand more than anything.

Some keyboards will not be able to type all the letter due to this:

That's what I mean.
I understand the x4 is a good gaming k/B but i don't know if saving £20 for a standard k/B is better. I don't know if I'd take advantage over its extra features.
I understand the gaming mouse to have extra buttons and a switchable dpi. How useful is this is day to day life and in casual gaming?
Obviously there's the G500 but are there any good "standard" mice out?
I see the M500 but for a tenner more, I could get the G500.

- I don't recommend setting on anything man-machine interface: Input devices and monitors are something you deal with every use of the machine for years to come
- I swear by Logitech. Their quality has always been bar-none since the early '90's and their support is outstanding (I asked if I could buy a new G9x cord because my cat chewed through it and though I could solder it, I prefer to replace it; they sent me an entire brand new, unopened replacement mouse!)
- My experience with Razer is that they are junk. If your stuff doesn't completely plotz, it just feels cheap and wears poorly and never works properly. They are rife with poor design decisions as well. Of 11 Razer pieces, two went into the trash, seven were sold at a loss, two are pretty worn in a basement box for legacy systems which, for anal-retentive reasons, I haven't just thrown or given away (hey, I finally threw away my Atari 2600 out just last year, so I'm making progress here!)
- If you game, I don't recommend wireless (latency and reliability plus more likely to chew through a charge too quickly)
- The G400 is only 3600dpi; I prefer lowering speed and increasing resolution (newer models are 5700dpi)
- The M500 doesn't have Darkfield (can use it on any surface) and I don't know if you can program its buttons. It also doesn't have the--I don't know what they're called but the pads the mouse glides on on the G-series mice are like Hotblack Desiato's spaceship: frictionless! Serously, I think they're Teflon and they don't wear out)
- The G500 or the G9x would be my suggestion; you can program the buttons and the weights really do make a huge difference, especially if you game
- If you game, you need a gaming keyboard. The X4 looks solid and doesn't have the ghosting issues the X6 has. Personally, however, it looks ugly, uncomfortable, and I don't see a volume knob--but that's all personal taste.
- I would still recommend the G110 (G19 sans display but has USB audio...spiffy) over the X4 for all of its keys are full-size, uniform, has the volume knob w/other media controls. Additionally, if you ever get a G13, it uses the same software
- Wife and I each have Logitech G19, G13, G9x, F710, Anywhere MX and love them
Again, this is your interface to your PC and I wouldn't recommend settling; I can't see regretting spending a little more but I can see regretting not getting the components you are completely happy with.

Right. Thanks so much for a really detailed answer!
I think, based on that, I'll go for the G500 mouse.
I see where you're coming from on the G110 but aren't the keys closer together?
Although I like the volume control and the sound card thing... But I don't know if I'd use them.

I think it kinda depends on the jack on your PC, most have some combo of line-in, mic, line-out, headphones, etc.
For phones they multi-purpose a single headphone jack to feed audio back in. I'm not sure how they do this or if computer headphone jacks are built to do this too. (Most probably aren't).
However, all headphones can be used a mics when plugged into a mic jack. A trick DJs have used for years. Only one earpiece will react as a mic. But the quality is kinda meh.
Hey guys, I'm back and still looking for a keyboard (gonna get that G500 mouse)
It's still MS X4 vs logitech G110 for a fiver more.
I think I'm gonna go for the Logitech but i wanted to know if anyone had any more opinions...?
Looking online, it seems to be that the X4 is appreciated for being cheap and good.... But
