Reconnectnig to enterprise wi-fi

We've just had a WPA2 Enterprise wifi network setup, which is hidden from view.

This is fine, and I can successfully connect to it, and it 'remembers' it.

However, if I leave and come back (eg next day, or restart my phone) it won't reconnect until i go into the wi-fi settings, select the network and hit 'connect'.
Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be because it's 'hidden'?

When I've come across this sort of thing before, it can be because the wifi router's firmware isn't up-to-date or an admin setting for the router needs to take account of your phone.

So the problem might not be to do with your phone (if you have everything set up correctly). I think a chat to your IT guy at work will be the quickest way forward.

There are apps to help with discovering hidden SSIDs, but this won't be of much use if the solution is with the router settings.

Thanks notebook - yeah, probably a network/admin issue - to be fair, it's a hidden network because IT are still testing it out and don't want everyone using it yet, so perhaps once it's released for wider use, it'll sort itself out!
