record voicemail greeting as mp3?

as the title states, is there any way to take the voicemail greeting on a phone and save it as a mp3 or something? reason being, is I have a customer that have a voicemail greeting from a deceased relative and she doesnt want to loose it.

i dont know about doing this with some kind of software or service, but you can always record the voicemail with a recording device. Doing this will lower the quality of the audio though. Or you can just save the voice mail, i dont think they erase.

Do you have a 3.5mm male-male? You could hook it into your computer line in and then call the voicemail. The audio will come in and you can record it.

Other wise I'd say call it on speakerphone and record it via microphone on another phone or the computer.
