Recording for over one hour

Is there any solution to my duration cap of 1 hour for recorded video (Samsung Galaxy S2?) I have plenty of space and battery life to record more than that, but it always stops at 59:59... if this is a fact of the native apps, is there anything I can do?

How large is the file size of the video? As far as I know, the cap isn't based on video length but file size. The storage unit of the S2 is formatted to fat32, which means it has a 4GB file size limit.
